Already the most versatile inkjet in the business, the CAMMJET just got even better. With blazing production speed (300 sqft/hr at 450 dpi), the CJ-540 CAMMJET PRO II printer/cutter can crank out a wide variety of great-looking graphics and automatically contour cut them, too. Roland developed this unique blend of speed, quality and versatility especially for the production of POP displays, signs, banners and exhibits as well as decals, floor graphics, packaging prototypes and vehicle graphics.

Blazing Print Speed

The CAMMJET PRO II can print up to 300 sqft/hr at 450 dpi. Roland developed this unique, sign-quality print mode especially for sign, exhibit and POP makers. One inch wide, the print heads are loaded with 360 nozzles. Large 30-sqft banners take only 10 minutes. Now that’s production speed with quality you can sell!

Brilliant INKs

Roland UV-stable pigment inks produce vivid, eye-catching graphics with enhanced color. Ongoing tests at Wilhelm Research indicate over 100 years indoor print permanence with Roland pigment ink. Roland dye-based inks produce lush, intense colors at a lower price. Both come in sealed 220ml ink cartridges for easy, no-mess handling.

Precision Cutting

Once an image has been printed, the CAMMJET PRO II can automatically contour cut your design without having to reload or reposition the media. Roland’s renowned CAMM-1 cutting technology makes quick work of window signs, decals, labels, point-of-purchase displays and packaging prototypes. With its curve smoothing function, the CAMMJET PRO II cuts elegant arcs and curves with amazing accuracy at speeds up to 24”/sec.

Line It Up

Should you need to laminate your work, a unique four-point automatic optical registration function “Quadralign” allows you to remove a print, laminate and then reload the graphic for perfect contour cutting. The CAMMJET PRO II realigns the cutting path and compensates for skew image distortion – an industry first! Printing and cutting operations can be handled simultaneously from a variety of software applications including Adobe® Illustrator, CorelDRAW®, QuarkXPress® and Pagemaker®.

Unsurpassed Print Quality

The CAMMJET PRO II precisely controls droplet placement in both the print head travel and paper feed directions to provide true 1440 x 1440 dpi resolution. The CAMMJET PRO II uses both the newest generation of variable droplet Piezo print heads and a digital servo motor to control the media.

Variable droplet technology utilizes micro-precise ink droplets of three different sizes depending on the type of output. This state-of-the-art technology delivers truly breathtaking output with beautifully smooth and dot-free tones even at high speed. The six precision print heads are designed in an in line configuration for the best dot control in the industry. Variable droplet technology delivers uncompromising quality for the most discerning applications. Roland media clamps help prevent media curling, which can cause head strikes.

Variety Of Media

The CAMMJET PRO II accepts a wide range of Roland-certified media. Roland’s continually growing lineup includes PET film for photographic prints, backlit film, matte and gloss papers, fine art paper, artist’s canvas, Tyvek®, banner, adhesive-backed vinyl and others.

Network Connection

Equipped with a standard 100 BASE-TX/10 BASE-T interface, the SC-540 connects seamlessly to office networks with a data transmission rate of 1.1 Mb/sec. This makes it easy to configure a highly efficient printing environment. Parallel cable can be used for stand-alone printing.
